Young Graduate Program - Sales

Job 

The Arvesta Young Graduate Program is a 16-month journey, where you can explore what makes you tick in various assignments across multiple departments. We provide programs in supply chain, marketing/communication, central services, sales and retail. You will be working on consecutively three main & sub projects that are defined by our business owners. During those projects, you will be supported by your team members for the implementation of the project, by HR for your personal development & by your mentor for your career questions.    

Whether you are working on exciting marketing campaigns or business projects, your impact is guaranteed.  At the Arvesta headquarters in Leuven, or for one of our 40+ leading brands in Belgium, France, the Netherlands & Germany.   

So what is sales about? We get up every day to grow together with our farmers and growers and to enable them to maximize their profitability. And we take this seriously. We assist our customers with advice and assistance. We listen to their needs and provide appropriate advice. As a Young Graduate in Sales you learn the tricks of the trade in how to build lasting relationships with farmers. You advise them on how to purchase the best products for their business. 

As a Sales Young Grad you get energy from traveling from here to there and meeting new people. You flourish when you meet new customers and when you make the customers happy. In addition to the sales part, you get really excited about thinking strategically about how we can serve our customer even better, and thus optimize our turnover. 

Profile  

You are ambitious, passionate and willing to make an impact. At Arvesta, the right mindset is fundamental. What we expect from you? The Arvesta-attitude & some skills specific to your track.  

• You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in bio-engineering, agricultural sciences, agro and biotechnology… 
• Just graduated or with less than one year of experience  
• You have a strong interest in the agricultural sector and you are willing to develop that interest into knowledge   
• You are a transversal kind of person (that’s like a human octopus)   
• You’re a confident, natural communicator & eager to go wherever your work takes you. You're hands-on (cliché, but a real dealmaker) and you’re willing to go for the extra mile 
• You are keen on developing yourself   
• Naast dat je vloeiend Nederlands of Frans spreekt, tu es capable de tirer ton plan dans l'autre langue & you can express yourself in English    
• You’re a “let’s have a 10 minute coffee” break kinda person
